Stock market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has banned Authum promoter director Sanjay Dangi and his associates including Alpana Dangi, a promoter director in Authum, along with promoters of four companies from dealing in the equity markets following allegations of price manipulation more than a decade ago.

Mumbai: Authum Investment & Infrastructure’s bid to takeover Anil Ambani’s Reliance Home Finance (RHFL) in a bankruptcy process has brought to light past issues that Authum promoters had with regulators. But that’s unlikely to stall the resolution, said bankers.
