Describing India-Bangladesh relations as broad and vibrant, Indian President Ram Nath Kovind said, “We are emphasizing on communication.”
The President of India said that Bangladesh is India’s development partner. India-Bangladesh partnership is wide and lively. He made the remarks during a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her hotel suite at Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon on Wednesday (December 15).
After the meeting, Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Ihsanul Karim briefed the journalists.

Indian President Ram Nath Kovind further said that he was very happy to be a part of the celebration of three mega events.
He said, “Bangladesh is celebrating the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence and the golden jubilee of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
