Virat Kohli opens up about baby Vamika not being able to meet her grandfather

Indian skipper Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in January this year. The power couple has since then been enjoying their new roles as parents to daughter Vamika. At the moment, the family of three are stationed in the UK where Virat is playing his next cricket tournament. Amid his work trip, Virat has been also taking out time for his family and has been seen having fun at parks and beautiful exotic locales with them. During a recent interview, he answered many personal questions about fatherhood, his wife, career and family. He also spoke about missing his father, Prem Kohli, whom he lost in December 2006, less than two years before he made his international debut for India. That’s a significant milestone that his father missed. When asked if he misses his father now, Virat said his father didn’t see him play for India. He said with his daughter, too, he sees the happiness in his mother’s face which sometimes makes him wish his father were here as well. He also went on to talk about his love life and his first meeting with wifey Anushka. He said, ‘I started joking around with her. She said this was the first time I saw someone joking around me about the things I have experienced as a child. So that really connected.’
