Amid COVID pandemic, Tripura has registered economic growth with a per capita income higher than the national average and registered significant growth in its Gross State Domestic Product .According to Law and Education Minister of Tripura, Ratan Lal Nath, “When BJP came to power in 2018, Tripura’s GSDP was Rs 43,715 crores, which went up to Rs 59,750 crores in FY 2020-2021. The per capita income, which was Rs 1,00,444 during Left Front rule in FY 2017-18, rose to Rs 1,31,128 in FY 2020-21,” he said.
