Long-distance capability also sees a dramatic boost due to the expanded battery capacity operating alongside the turbocharged gasoline engine. When fully charged and replenished with a full tank of fuel, the XC60 T8 offers a theoretical total driving range of 590 miles between refuelings. This dual-source efficiency provides complete long-distance flexibility while maintaining zero-emission capability for short urban journeys.
